This week, please look at the following details of the August feature of our Love Cinematique Friday night movie. We are in the process of bringing the information and connections onto the website, ALUUv.org. This coming Friday, August 19th, we will be screening The Greatest Showman as we continue our summer schedule with movies on the 3rd Friday of the month at 7:30 pm. Before and after the main features we also have been showing episodes of the BET animated short series, Black Panther. The final two episodes of this series will be shown then.

Dionne Stallworth describes The Greatest Showman as “a musical (loosely) based on the true story of PT Barnum. At its heart, this fantastical story is about finding community and purpose when you are outside the circle of belonging. The award winning music is a highlight of this film. The songs sing to my Unitarian Universalist soul, and some have become anthems for getting through tough days. If you’re looking for a hopeful, inspiring, uplifting way to spend a Friday evening with friends, please join us!”
This film is rated PG, and probably best for 11+ years.
